On reconna\u00eet que les affections cutan\u00e9es peuvent toucher diff\u00e9remment les divers groupes ethniques et que les types de peau peuvent influer sur nos d\u00e9cisions cliniques. En tant que chercheuse, je voue un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier \u00e0 ce domaine. J\u2019esp\u00e8re entra\u00eener des changements significatifs et mieux repr\u00e9senter la situation afin que toutes les personnes atteintes d\u2019ecz\u00e9ma puissent obtenir le traitement qui m\u00e8ne aux meilleurs r\u00e9sultats cliniques.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, on remarque un manque de connaissances flagrant chez les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 dans la mani\u00e8re de traiter l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma et d\u2019autres affections cutan\u00e9es en fonction de la couleur de la peau. Souvent, on leur a enseign\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole comment reconna\u00eetre les affections cutan\u00e9es d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui vise surtout les \u00ab peaux blanches \u00bb. C\u2019est ce que refl\u00e8tent les manuels classiques de m\u00e9decine. Cette situation doit changer. En effet, nous sommes conscients que l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma se pr\u00e9sente tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9remment selon la couleur de la peau, et que le traitement doit \u00eatre adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-09fbd9f elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"09fbd9f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Quelle apparence prend l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma selon la couleur de la peau? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97cc3d6 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"97cc3d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>L\u2019ecz\u00e9ma est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une peau s\u00e8che qui d\u00e9mange et qui peut se fendiller, suinter, saigner et devenir rugueuse ou \u00e9paisse. On dit souvent qu\u2019il occasionne des rougeurs, toutefois ce sympt\u00f4me se manifeste le plus souvent chez les peaux p\u00e2les.<\/p>\n<p>La rougeur peut \u00eatre absente chez les peaux fonc\u00e9es. Les l\u00e9sions peuvent plut\u00f4t prendre des tons violac\u00e9s, gris\u00e2tres, brun rouge ou m\u00eame brun fonc\u00e9. Elles peuvent m\u00eame appara\u00eetre dans des zones diff\u00e9rentes, comme au-dessus ou sur le devant du genou ou du coude, plut\u00f4t que derri\u00e8re ceux-ci ou dans les plis, comme c\u2019est souvent le cas chez les peaux p\u00e2les.<\/p>\n<p>Les pouss\u00e9es r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es et le grattage fr\u00e9quent peuvent aussi entra\u00eener des modifications cutan\u00e9es, comme un \u00e9paississement de la peau (peau sur\u00e9lev\u00e9e et pr\u00e9sence de lignes). Des bosses sur\u00e9lev\u00e9es (appel\u00e9es \u00ab prurigo nodulaire \u00bb) sont courantes chez les peaux fonc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9830888 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9830888\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Qu\u2019en est-il des changements pigmentaires, comme des plaques de peau plus p\u00e2le ou plus fonc\u00e9e?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a12eb27 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a12eb27\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Les changements pigmentaires sont tr\u00e8s courants en pr\u00e9sence d\u2019ecz\u00e9ma, et surviennent presque chez tous les patients dont la peau est fonc\u00e9e. Ils ne sont habituellement pas permanents, mais peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s affligeants pour les patients.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019hyperpigmentation (hyper signifiant \u00ab exc\u00e8s \u00bb ou \u00ab sup\u00e9rieur \u00bb) se caract\u00e9rise par une plaque de peau plus fonc\u00e9e que la peau avoisinante, alors qu\u2019on parle d\u2019hypopigmentation (hypo signifiant \u00ab inf\u00e9rieur \u00bb ou \u00ab en dessous \u00bb) quand la peau touch\u00e9e est plus p\u00e2le. Ces changements pigmentaires surviennent souvent apr\u00e8s une pouss\u00e9e et sont une complication rencontr\u00e9e fr\u00e9quemment.<\/p>\n<p>Une intervention et un traitement pr\u00e9coces peuvent aider \u00e0 prendre en charge les changements pigmentaires caus\u00e9s par l\u2019inflammation.
