Toutefois, la recherche montre qu\u2019en se grattant moins, on peut att\u00e9nuer les sympt\u00f4mes associ\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<p>Pour approfondir le sujet, la SCE s&rsquo;est entretenue avec Shawn Reynolds (Ph. D.), psychologue, \u00e0 propos de la th\u00e9rapie d\u2019inversion des habitudes, une approche con\u00e7ue pour aider les gens aux prises avec le cycle d\u00e9mangeaisons-grattage. Voici ce qu\u2019il avait \u00e0 nous dire sur cette approche et comment elle peut aider les patients atteints d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<h3>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que la th\u00e9rapie d\u2019inversion?<\/h3>\n<p>Il est possible d&rsquo;apprendre \u00e0 mieux composer avec une mauvaise habitude (comme se gratter) en tentant de la comprendre. L\u2019objectif de la th\u00e9rapie d\u2019inversion n&rsquo;est habituellement pas d\u2019\u00e9liminer compl\u00e8tement une habitude, mais de la rendre plus facile \u00e0 g\u00e9rer et moins dommageable.<\/p>\n<p>Quand on dit \u00e0 notre enfant, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00eatre aim\u00e9 ou \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames \u00ab fais juste arr\u00eater de te gratter \u00bb, c&rsquo;est rarement aidant. Si c\u2019\u00e9tait aussi facile, nous n\u2019aurions plus besoin de trouver des strat\u00e9gies comme celles dont il est question ici.<\/p>\n<p>Comme ce ne l&rsquo;est pas, voici quelques moyens qui peuvent aider :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00catre plus conscient de l\u2019habitude (Quand se manifeste-t-elle?)<\/li>\n<li>Penser \u00e0 notre r\u00e9ponse (Ai-je besoin de me gratter en ce moment?)<\/li>\n<li>Essayer de r\u00e9pondre diff\u00e9remment (Je vais me gratter si \u00e7a d\u00e9mange encore dans 10 secondes, ou je vais me gratter avec la paume de ma main plut\u00f4t qu\u2019avec mes ongles)<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9valuer notre r\u00e9ponse (Est-ce que le fait de me gratter a am\u00e9lior\u00e9 la situation?\/ Apr\u00e8s avoir attendu, est-ce que j\u2019avais encore besoin de me gratter?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Quelles sont les techniques de th\u00e9rapie d\u2019inversion?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>La conscience :<\/strong> Le simple fait de mieux prendre conscience du moment o\u00f9 on se gratte peut aider. En consignant nos \u00e9pisodes de grattage, il est possible de faire ressortir des moments de la journ\u00e9e ou des situations o\u00f9 le comportement risque le plus de se r\u00e9p\u00e9ter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019environnement :<\/strong> Est-ce que certains endroits sont plus propices aux \u00e9pisodes de grattage? Est-ce que certains v\u00eatements att\u00e9nuent\/aggravent les d\u00e9mangeaisons?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les sens :<\/strong> Est-ce que certaines choses peuvent aider \u00e0 soulager, sans se gratter? Par exemple, appliquer de la glace plut\u00f4t que d\u2019utiliser nos ongles.<\/p>\n<h3>Techniques d\u2019inversion des habitudes<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019inversion des habitudes mise sur trois aspects :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>La gestion de l&rsquo;envie irr\u00e9sistible \u2013 Ce qui veut dire comprendre l&rsquo;envie \u2013 quand survient-elle le plus souvent? Comment je r\u00e9ponds \u00e0 cette envie?<\/li>\n<li>La gestion de la r\u00e9ponse \u2013 Quand l&rsquo;envie surgit, comment j\u2019y r\u00e9ponds? Quelles autres techniques puis-je utiliser, mis \u00e0 part cette habitude?<\/li>\n<li>Le contr\u00f4le des dommages \u2013 Quand je ne peux pas m&#8217;emp\u00eacher d&rsquo;agir, comment puis-je limiter les dommages qui en d\u00e9coulent? Puis-je raccourcir le temps de l\u2019habitude ou utiliser des strat\u00e9gies moins dommageables (comme frotter la peau avec un gla\u00e7on plut\u00f4t que de me gratter avec un objet pointu)?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ces techniques peuvent vous aider \u00e0 reprendre le dessus sur le grattage et \u00e0 ainsi mieux prendre en charge votre ecz\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<p>La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma remercie Shawn Reynolds (Ph.
