Vont-elles dispara\u00eetre un jour?<\/p>\n<p><strong>R :<\/strong> La SCE a demand\u00e9 au Dr Joseph Lam, p\u00e9diatre et expert en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma, de nous expliquer les changements pigmentaires associ\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<p>Voici ce qu&rsquo;il avait \u00e0 dire \u00e0 ce sujet : \u00ab Les changements pigmentaires \u2013 c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire des plaques de peau plus p\u00e2le ou plus fonc\u00e9e \u2013 sont courants chez les personnes atteintes d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma. Les patients peuvent trouver ces changements de couleur de la peau pr\u00e9occupants, et beaucoup croient qu&rsquo;ils sont caus\u00e9s par les traitements topiques. Ce n&rsquo;est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas le cas. Ces changements d\u00e9coulent plut\u00f4t de la r\u00e9ponse de la peau \u00e0 l&rsquo;inflammation. On utilise parfois l&rsquo;analogie avec le feu pour expliquer le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne : la pouss\u00e9e d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma est comme la flamme, et les plaques de peau p\u00e2le ou fonc\u00e9e qui surgissent par la suite sont comme les braises qui continuent \u00e0 fumer une fois le feu \u00e9teint. Une fois la peau gu\u00e9rie et r\u00e9par\u00e9e, il se peut que les changements pigmentaires se r\u00e9sorbent d&rsquo;eux-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n<p>Les personnes qui ont une forme plus grave d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma, qui subissent fr\u00e9quemment des pouss\u00e9es ou qui se grattent beaucoup (ce qui endommage la peau) pourraient avoir des changements pigmentaires plus marqu\u00e9s qui risquent moins de se r\u00e9tablir avant la prochaine \u00ab\u00a0flamb\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb. Les expressions m\u00e9dicales pour d\u00e9crire ces changements pigmentaires sont hyperpigmentation post-inflammatoire (hyper signifiant \u2018plus\u2019 ou \u2018trop\u2019) et hypopigmentation post-inflammatoire (hypo signifiant \u2018moins\u2019 ou \u2018sous\u2019). Ces changements ne sont habituellement pas permanents, mais il peut s&rsquo;\u00e9couler jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un an avant que la couleur de la peau redevienne comme avant.
