Or, le fait de souffrir d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma est aussi une source de stress. Il peut \u00eatre difficile et \u00e9prouvant de composer avec ce cercle vicieux. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma (SCE) s&rsquo;est r\u00e9cemment entretenue avec Shawn Reynolds (Ph.&nbsp;D.), psychologue agr\u00e9\u00e9 d\u2019Edmonton, pour qu\u2019il nous donne quelques conseils relatifs \u00e0 la gestion du stress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Par o\u00f9 commencer pour g\u00e9rer son stress?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Soyez \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de vos indices de stress. Si vous serrez le volant \u00e0 poing ferm\u00e9 en conduisant, avez la m\u00e8che courte avec vos coll\u00e8gues ou criez contre votre chien, cela peut \u00eatre des indices que votre stress est \u00e9lev\u00e9. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape pour g\u00e9rer son stress, c&rsquo;est d\u2019en prendre conscience.&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Quels moyens peut-on prendre pour le g\u00e9rer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Quand vous vivez une situation ou une journ\u00e9e stressante, pensez \u00e0 ce que vous pouvez faire pour prendre soin de vous et r\u00e9duire votre stress. Vous pouvez prendre des pauses, manger un repas sain, bouger en faisant une marche ou en faisant des exercices physiques, ou interrompre vos diverses t\u00e2ches difficiles \u00e0 accomplir pour faire des activit\u00e9s amusantes.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Prendre soin de soi, c&rsquo;est prendre des moyens concrets pour s&rsquo;assurer que son humeur et son bien-\u00eatre vont bien, surtout pendant les p\u00e9riodes plus stressantes. Selon Shawn Reynolds : \u00ab&nbsp;Cela signifie porter attention \u00e0 ses besoins physiques et \u00e9motionnels, et prendre en charge sa propre sant\u00e9 en \u00e9tant actif et en pratiquant des activit\u00e9s agr\u00e9ables. Quand on prend soin de soi-m\u00eame, il est plus facile de prendre soin des autres par la suite, car on se sent plus calme et en contr\u00f4le&nbsp;\u00bb.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>L\u2019importance de g\u00e9rer son stress<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Apprendre \u00e0 g\u00e9rer son stress, c&rsquo;est se doter d\u2019outils pour r\u00e9initialiser son syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;alarme interne et mieux le r\u00e9gler. Ces outils aideront notre corps et notre esprit \u00e0 mieux composer avec les d\u00e9fis que la vie met sur notre chemin. Quand on n\u00e9glige de g\u00e9rer son stress, on laisse son corps dans un \u00e9tat d\u2019alerte constant. Le stress devient chronique et peut au fil du temps miner notre sant\u00e9 mentale et physique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Quelle est l\u2019importance du sommeil pour la gestion du stress?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;On sous-estime l\u2019importance du sommeil dans la gestion du stress, mais celui-ci peut \u00eatre troubl\u00e9 en pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma, en raison des d\u00e9mangeaisons et de la douleur. Le sommeil est essentiel et repr\u00e9sente le tiers de notre vie. Il influe sur tout ce que nous faisons. La qualit\u00e9 et la quantit\u00e9 de notre sommeil se r\u00e9percutent sur l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, l\u2019humeur, l\u2019irritabilit\u00e9 et la concentration.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Doit-on ajouter la m\u00e9ditation \u00e0 nos pratiques d\u2019autosoin?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Il est possible d\u2019inclure la m\u00e9ditation, la pleine conscience, la relaxation ou la pri\u00e8re, bref, le nom donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la pratique importe peu, l&rsquo;important c&rsquo;est de poser une action pour vous d\u00e9tendre et g\u00e9rer une situation stressante. Faites quelque chose qui vous relaxe et donne une pause \u00e0 votre esprit.&nbsp;\u00bb Toutes ces pratiques peuvent vous aider \u00e0 vous d\u00e9tendre et \u00e0 calmer votre esprit, car elles permettent de vous concentrer sur autre chose et de canaliser les pens\u00e9es qui occupent votre esprit et vous occasionnent du stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Comment aider les enfants \u00e0 g\u00e9rer leur stress?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Comme pour les adultes, nous voulons que les enfants reconnaissent quand ils sont stress\u00e9s et apprennent \u00e0 prendre soin d\u2019eux. Les enfants ont souvent un bon instinct pour trouver des strat\u00e9gies d&rsquo;autosoin. Par exemple, un \u00e9l\u00e8ve de troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e peut prendre une pause par lui-m\u00eame. Il peut aller aiguiser son crayon et s&rsquo;arr\u00eater pour bavarder avec un ami en retournant \u00e0 son pupitre. Ces mesures lui permettront ensuite de retourner \u00e0 ses t\u00e2ches; il est en effet difficile d&rsquo;avoir la t\u00eate baiss\u00e9e sur ses cahiers sans prendre de pause. De telles strat\u00e9gies, et le fait de prendre conscience quand on devient irritable, qu\u2019on a besoin d\u2019une pause ou d\u2019\u00e9tirer ses muscles, sont de bons pas vers un meilleur bien-\u00eatre.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Le traitement de l&rsquo;ecz\u00e9ma est unique \u00e0 chacun. Est-ce la m\u00eame chose pour l&rsquo;autosoin?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Il faut trouver le soutien social et psychologique qui fonctionne pour vous. Une course \u00e0 la fin de la journ\u00e9e de travail est une bonne option pour certains, alors que d&rsquo;autres d\u00e9testent courir et n\u2019y trouvent pas leur compte. Il existe de nombreuses activit\u00e9s qui aident \u00e0 se sentir mieux. L\u2019objectif est d&rsquo;en trouver plusieurs qui parviennent \u00e0 nous relaxer et \u00e0 faire le plein d\u2019\u00e9nergie.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Q&nbsp;: Y a-t-il autre chose que l\u2019on peut envisager? Selon Shawn Reynolds :&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>R :<\/strong> \u00ab&nbsp;Il faut se tourner vers des strat\u00e9gies qui aident \u00e0 court et \u00e0 long terme. Passer trois heures sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux pourrait vous aider \u00e0 passer une bonne soir\u00e9e, mais ce ne sera pas gagnant chaque soir. Vous devez aussi porter attention \u00e0 comment vous vous sentez apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 : mieux ou moins bien? Trouvez des strat\u00e9gies qui sont efficaces pour vous et qui conviennent \u00e0 votre mode de vie et au type de personne que vous aspirez \u00e0 \u00eatre.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Si vous sentez d\u00e9pass\u00e9(e) et stress\u00e9(e), et pensez que ces sentiments augmentent vos sympt\u00f4mes de DA, parlez \u00e0 un professionnel de la sant\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9. Un m\u00e9decin, comme un dermatologue, peut aider \u00e0 optimiser votre plan de traitement, et un psychologue ou autre professionnel de la sant\u00e9 mentale peut vous aider \u00e0 composer avec votre stress et votre anxi\u00e9t\u00e9. Il existe des <a href=\"https:\/\/eczemahelp.ca\/fr\/vivre-avec-leczema\/sante-mentale\/#associations\">ressources<\/a> dans chaque province qui peuvent vous mettre en contact avec une personne en mesure de vous venir en aide.
