As summer ends, so does another memorable season at Camp Liberté. With locations in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec, Camp Liberté offers Canadian children with chronic skin conditions like atopic dermatitis the opportunity to participate in an unforgettable overnight camp experience.
Unforgettable moments
Founded by a team of Canadian dermatologists in 2009, Camp Liberté is staffed with trained medical professionals to ensure every camper’s comfort. Children enjoy fun summer activities like swimming, hiking, and canoeing in a safe and inclusive environment.
An independent, charitable organization run by dedicated volunteer dermatologists, Camp Liberté is funded by donations from organizations such as Eczema Society of Canada (ESC). ESC is proud to have sponsored Camp Liberté over the past decade.
“We are thrilled to help give children living with eczema a chance to experience the wonders of overnight summer camp,” said Mike Lanigan, ESC board member. “Camp Liberté is a special place where children can meet others facing the same challenges, boost their confidence, and discover new skills. As someone who understands the struggles of living with eczema, I hope these children leave with lasting, unforgettable memories.”
