New Atopic Dermatitis Documentary by GlobalSkin
Have you heard? Eczema advocacy is on the rise, thanks in part to a new atopic dermatitis documentary from GlobalSkin!
GlobalSkin (also known as the International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations) is a unique global initiative focused on improving research, advocacy, and support for patients and families living with chronic skin conditions.
As one of the most common skin conditions worldwide, atopic dermatitis (AD) is more than irritation, rash, and itchy skin. Capable of causing debilitating symptoms and pain, many patients living with atopic dermatitis experience profound physical, mental, emotional, financial, and social health symptoms due to their diagnosis – and decision makers around the world can make a difference by improving access to necessary AD supports and treatments.
To raise awareness of the importance of increased atopic dermatitis advocacy, GlobalSkin has created an emotionally compelling documentary that follows the heartbreaking and inspiring stories of real atopic dermatitis patients fighting for improved care.
Highlighting the real struggles of people living with atopic dermatitis worldwide, this documentary includes powerful personal interviews with patients from the United States, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, China, Colombia, Slovenia, and Kenya.
At ESC, we know that advocacy is essential for improving patient outcomes – and we love the empowering and personalized message that this documentary shares.
