The International Eczema Council (IEC), founded in 2014 by Drs. Amy Paller and Emma Guttman, is a global nonprofit organization led by dermatology and allergy experts on atopic dermatitis. International Society of Atopic Dermatitis

The International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD) developed out of the tradition of the international atopic dermatitis symposia created by the Norwegian dermatologist of Hungarian origin, Georg Rajka, in Oslo in 1979. ISAD continues today as a collection of leading dermatologists, medical professionals, and researchers from around the world who work together to advance the care of atopic dermatitis. There are no current atopic dermatitis/eczema guidelines in Canada. There are guidelines under the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) in the United States.
